“It was all a dream, I used to read Transworld magazine”.

Nic Mercer has been skateboarding in NYC since the mid 80’s and witnessed the scene grow from one generation to the next. From New Jersey Nic traveled every weekend to cross the river and start his day at the Brooklyn Banks. He met so many talented skateboarders an artists over the years from skating in NYC. The vibe of the inner city skateboard culture will always be a big inspiration to his life and to his music. In this track Nic tries to capture the peak of the 1990’s skate era in this freestyle influenced by the great Notorious BIG.

“Most rappers could care less about skateboarding, but yet they bite our styles all day… you got to love it.” Nic Mercer.

This was basically a NYC skateboard history lesson.
